Design notes

• Built from a small kit of rounded rectangular modules, one stroke thickness, so every letter is a block with the corners rounded off.
• Several capitals are their own shapes: A is a rounded triangle with a hole, D looks like a lowercase d, E is a rounded square with a notch, J is a single slash, S is a rounded square with a bar, V and W are rounded triangles pointing down, Z is a 2-like block.
• The lowercase largely repeats the capitals at x-height, with a unicase feel; the e is a rounded square with a bar, the letter that decides readability at small sizes.
• Figures: the 4 is an open ч-shape, the 0 a rounded square; the & is a ω-like loop.
• Nine stylistic sets hold the conventional forms of A, E, Q, S, o and the figures 1 and 8, so the odd letters are a choice, not a limit.
• A toy look, modular and made of shapes: for logos in furniture, kids and anything built from modules.
