Bool is an easygoing geometric type, with line-style bars and fun alternate shapes for logos.

Pointed apexes on A, M, N, V and W, a circle for the O, and crossbars lighter than the stems.

The light bars keep the counters open in Black, so heavy logos stay clear. Tech, food, fashion and kids’ brands.

Works best for

Logotypes for tech, restaurants, fashion and kids brands; headlines and short lines.

Little river or nuido for text next to bool headlines.

Design notes

  • Geometric sans with sharp apexes: A, M, N, V, W come to points; the O is a circle.
  • The crossbars are drawn lighter than the stems (A, E, F, H, e, t), which keeps the Black weight open.
  • The counters of B, P and R sit off-centre toward the right, which gives the face its slightly cross-eyed look.
  • Single-storey a and g; the J sits on the baseline; the 1 has no foot.
  • Four stylistic sets with alternate A, B, M, N, O, Q, S, g and ampersand, plus discretionary ligatures.
