Works best for

Bakeries, sweet shops, cosy or retro furniture, playful jewellery, fresh beauty products, and film or music titles; logos, titles and short lines rather than long text.

Pairs with

Goji or nuido for the text that runs alongside it.

Design notes

  • Handwritten, drawn freehand: letters lean and sit on an uneven baseline, so a word wobbles on purpose.
  • The stroke swells and thins like a brush. Thin and Light taper to inked points; from Bold up the strokes fill out into full rounded blobs that nearly touch.
  • Single-storey a and g, the g with an open hooked tail. Round dots on i and j. The J and S curl at the ends, the Q has a hooked tail, the & is one looping curl.
  • The 1 has a long flag, the 3 and 5 have open bowls, and a slashed zero is available.
  • Five stylistic sets swap letters for alternate hand-drawn forms; a and the ampersand come in several styles.
  • One of Mojomox’s most popular fonts.
