Adidas uses a custom font based on DIN for its body copy and a custom logo typeface inspired by a geometric sans serif, similar to Bauhaus Geo in Medium (500) weight from our shop.
The Adidas logo is set in all lowercase with minimal spacing between the letters. Its design features a square dot on the “i” and very rounded, rather geometric shapes. The lowercase style gives the logo a young, approachable look—confident but not pretentious. Tight letter spacing and a relatively bold weight add unity. The logo’s geometric form brings a sense of openness and forward-thinking, balanced by the more structured and systematic look of the DIN-based body font.
