Licenses, files and installing.

01Where are my font files?

They come by email right after you buy, usually within 2 to 15 minutes. Nothing there? Check Spam and Promotions. Still nothing? Email saskia@mojomox.com with your order number and I’ll send them again.

02How do I install a Mojomox font on my computer?

On a Mac, double-click the .otf file and click Install Font. On Windows, right-click it and choose Install. Restart your design app and the font is there. For Cricut and other tools, see the install guide.

03My font doesn’t show up in InDesign. What can I do?

Try installing only the .otf files. In Font Book (Mac) or Settings > Fonts (Windows), remove all weights of the font, install the .otf files again and restart InDesign. If it still doesn’t show up, email saskia@mojomox.com.

04My font doesn’t show up in Keynote or Pages.

Restart the app, then go to Format > Font > Show Fonts and make sure All Fonts is selected.

05I get an “unsupported format” error when I install.

Use the .otf files. The .woff ones are for websites and won’t install on your computer.

06Can I use the fonts on a Chromebook?

Chromebooks can’t install fonts on the computer itself, but you can upload them in the app you’re using, like Canva.

07What font file formats do I get?

OTF, WOFF and WOFF2, all in one zip, and full families also get a variable TTF. The OTF files go on your computer, for Figma, Adobe apps or Affinity. WOFF and WOFF2 are for websites, with a webfonts.css file to get you started. More on the file formats page.

08How do I use the alternate letters?

In Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, open the Glyphs panel and pick the one you like. In Canva and other online tools, copy them from your computer’s character viewer and paste them in. Here’s a short video.

09Can I use Mojomox fonts in Canva?

Yes. With Canva Pro you can upload the .otf files to your brand kit and use them in any design.

10Can I use Mojomox fonts for commercial work?

Yes! The Desktop license covers branding, packaging, ads and products. One license is for one designer, and for a team you can add users in the license picker. The details are in the EULA.

11Do you have trial fonts?

Yes! Email saskia@mojomox.com and tell me which font you’d like to try. The trial files have the basic letters and all the alternates, just no accents, so you can sketch a logo or show it to a client.

12What’s your return policy?

You can return a font within 14 days if it’s not right for your project. Discounted bundles are final. All the details are in the return policy.

13Need an invoice?

Email saskia@mojomox.com with your order number, plus your address if it’s different from the order, and I’ll send one over.

14What font weight is what number?

100 = Thin, 200 = ExtraLight, 300 = Light, 400 = Regular, 500 = Medium, 600 = SemiBold, 700 = Bold, 800 = ExtraBold, 900 = Black.

15What languages are included?

Latin Basic, Western European, Central European, South Eastern European, South American, Oceanian and Esperanto. Need one that’s not on the list? Just ask.

16What glyphs are included?

Upper- and lowercase letters, numbers (tabular ones too), fractions, punctuation and math symbols. Many fonts also come with stylistic sets and alternates, listed on each font’s page.

17What is a variable font?

One file with every weight in it, on a slider from Thin (100) to Black (900). Handy when 300 is a bit too light and 400 a bit too heavy. Figma, Adobe apps and Affinity all support it, and full families come with one.

Anything else, like custom letters or a license for your whole company? Email saskia@mojomox.com. I usually reply within 2 hours, Monday to Friday, 9 to 4 US Eastern.
