Works best for

Logos, posters, packaging, menus and game graphics; a display face for headlines and names.

Pairs with

Auria sans or slim for text under a cesty headline.

Design notes

  • A soft display face with real stroke contrast: thick curves, thin joins, rounded tapered ends. In the Black weight the counters close to slits and the thin joins are what keep the letters apart.
  • Four styles of a, two double-storey and two single-storey, plus four each of g, R, V and W and three of K.
  • Swash alternates for the capitals B, D, E, F, I, J, K, L, M, N, R, U, V and W, and swash forms of C, Q, R, V, W, Y and the lowercase a, c, e, f, g, t, v, w, y and z. The R and the Q carry long tails that run under the next letter.
  • The capital ligatures swash too: LL, OC, OG, OO, QU, RO, RR, TT and Th join with sweeping strokes.
  • The C and S taper to points, the K has curved arms, the 3 and 5 end in ball terminals.
  • Alternate arrows and an alternate hyphen sit in the highest stylistic sets.
