Thin Fonts: The Lightest of Them All

In professional terms, thin fonts refer to the lightest available font weights—100 in our font shop. These weights are lighter than Light (300) and Extralight (200), creating a distinctly fine look. While the difference might not matter to most people looking for thin fonts, it’s worth understanding how these weights are best used.

Thin fonts work well in large headlines where their delicate strokes can stand out. However, for small text like paragraphs under 11 pt, Light or Regular weights are more practical and readable. This collection includes typefaces that look great in their thinnest weights, perfect for designs that call for a subtle, sophisticated quality.
